Heidi Montag Says No to Plastic from Heidi Montag

Recreating Louis Vuitton's Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection's geometric-ethnic print, the Monogram Nightbird Pochette is a vivacious clutch which combines a unique mix of vibrant color, luxurious material and intricate detail. Its definitely the must-have evening clutch for the New Age travelers. Not only that this clutch can be carried as a rectangular pochette, it could also be transformed into a ball-shaped clutch.

Nightbird Pochette is skillfully crafted from a combination of extravagant materials such as python skin, goat leather, calfskin and  multi-colored jacquard textile which reveals the iconic Monogram pattern. Other features include a precious satin lining, an interior phone pocket, a decorative calfskin tassel and a quirky telephone cord as part of the strap.

The interwebs has been bashing it ever since its photo was released saying its a stupid garbage bag with a ridiculous price tag. I understand that the price is steep but this is no stupid bag, I actually think its witty. Am I the only one who likes/wants this?

Meet the now infamous Raindrop Besace from Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2010 collection that was inspired by the lifestyle of the New Age Travelers. This utilitarian "rain bag" combines a luxurious feel with a delightfully practical shape. Though described by its detractors as a cheap plastic bag, the Raindrop Besace is actually made from soft and sumptuous patent lambskin leather which features delicate pleats and printed with vintage Louis Vuitton graphic signature.

Other details include natural cowhide leather trimmings, an adjustable strap with Louis Vuitton signature webbing for comfortable shoulder or cross-body carry, a soft nylon jacquard lining with woven Monogram pattern an interior zipped pocket and a bright orange textile drawstring to change the shape of the bag.

Raindrop Besace measures 18.9" x 13.4" x 2.8" and comes in two colors, Emeraud and Moka. Its available at Louis Vuitton stores for approx. US$2400. I truly love this bag especially the Moka and I wouldn't mind receiving a complimentary piece… lol. But seriously,  I WANT I WANT I WANT!

Lately, I've been wondering why Louis Vuitton hasn't updated the Monogram Denim line for quite some time. Well, now I know! The new denim bags (though they are show bags and are not in the permanent line) debuted at Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2010 show sporting a summery degradè look. On the runway, these go-anywhere bags are hung with brightly colored leather tassels and furry fox tail bag charms.

One of the bags from the Spring 2010 Monogram Denim collection is the Sunshine, an adorable little messenger bag that features a delicate graduation of vibrant shades and entrancing shape. Sunshine was created using an exclusive denim bleaching technique to achieve that lovely 'bleached by the sun' look. The bag features natural cowhide leather trimmings and luggage tag, an adjustable strap with Louis Vuitton signature webbing for a comfortable cross-body or shoulder carry, an interior pocket and golden and colored metallic hardware. Monogram Denim Sunshine measures 10.4" x 10.2" x 4.7" and comes in two gorgeous shades for Rose and Bleu. Available at Louis Vuitton stores for US$2330. Also, if you want to recreate the runway look, you could add some bag charms to your bag: the Rainbow and Foxxy charms is a great choice. Though I wish they redesign the store's visual presentation and maybe add more pieces to their range. And also, most importantly, I'm happy with the pieces I received.
